My Vacupress overheated and shut off. It has been cooling off for over an hour but still won't start. How do I reset it?

All our pumps have thermal overload protection in case they get to hot. The pump will automatically come back on when it cools down. The question is, why was your pump running continuously instead of shutting off like usual. Unless it was accidentally in continuous run mode.
