I too was in the same situation as you are in. I bought the Compact 100 system and am very happy with it, and am now veneering much more than I had anticipated. When I bought the unit, I "upgraded" the bag with the system to a 48" by 96" bag, anticipating that I would eventually need this size anyway. You can use the large bag for small pressings with no problem.

We have a Vacuum Press with a 8'4"lx4'4"wx5'4"d bag with bottom platten and 5HP Gast rotary vane pump. I have stats and pics if interested.
