Wasn't able to get any pictures at your link. If your question regards some missing surface wood on your veneer, you can glue in a patch pretty easily. Find a small piece of veneer of similar color/pattern slightly larger than the defect. Put a dab of PVA on the defect, then the patch, then a piece of plastic sheet (non-stick) then a smooth block of wood and clamp. After a couple hours, carefully sand the excess of the patch flush with the rest of the veneer. If a clamp won't reach, hold the covering block down with a heavy weight. If the veneer is especially porous and PVA residue might affect finishing, use cyanoacrylate.
For an open seam, use a lighter colored filler material that will dry hard. Then use touchup powders with alcohol cut shellac to "paint" the filler to match the surrounding veneer. If the result isn't good enough, wipe clean with denatured alcohol and start over. My one experience was perhaps my most frustrating woodworking experience, but I was able (eventually) to save a large burl veneered piece.
