Dear Vinay,Ditto to Dan's answer, always veneer both sides. Two things can happen, first, as the gluedries, it shrinks to some extent tightening and pulling the veneer on that side, if you dont havethe same pull on the other side to balance this out, the panel warps. Second, seasonal humiditychanges will penetrate the panel differently from both sides since one has the additional barrierof glue and veneer that the other side does not. This will also cause warping. Also the veneerto some extent itself, tries to expand and contract with humidity changes, this too will effectpanel stability. It also depends to some extent how the finished panel will be used. If its aside panel in a solid frame, I may be able to tolerate some warping, but if its a free swinginginset door I cant afford any movement. All in all, no matter what the panel will be used forI dont take chances, I always veneer both sides.SincerelyDarryl Keil: Will 3/4" mdf warp if veneered on only one side?
