I have dried yellow glue in my bag left by a worker that borrowed my bag for personal use and didn't clean up or care. Some scratches off but some does not. Any suggestions on how to remove it so I won't damage future veneers or damage the bag in removing it in the future? Thank you.

Let me take a guess here...

First: Stop scratching! You risk damaging the bag.

Now: I am guessing that the "yellow glue" you mentioned is not waterproof. So, soaking it in water should work. I know: soaking an entire bag? Nope. Try a very wet rag placed on just the offending spot. You may need to leave it there for a few hours or more. The glue should soften and eventually you can wipe it off. Don't let the rag dry out, or you will have succeeded in attaching the rag to your bag (no rhyme intended).

I do this with the tops of glue bottles and glue dispensers for yellow woodworking glue. I submerge them in water for a few hours, or overnight. The glue softens, turns white, and I can wipe/rinse the glue off.

Also, teach your workers to always use a barrier between the work piece and the bag. I always use a sheet of plastic so the glue never has a chance of touching the bag, never.

Just a note: I don't lend tools; especially those tools that I rely on to make my income. Just saying...

I will try soaking with cotton rag of water on it. Great idea. Thanks for the idea and remarks.
