Providing sufficient temperature to properly set urea resin glues can sometimes be a problem, especially in the winter. Many of us keep our shops in the 60's when the heat is on. A common electric blanket for one's bed is the usual solution.
A few years ago I found a plug in heating pad that simulates in floor heating meant to go under an area rug. I use this pad exclusively now, not only to sustain 70 degrees, but because it easily does 100 degrees which sets the glue much faster. The other thing is they come in much larger sizes than a house hold electric blanket, (smaller sizes too). They also have more heating wires throughout and are built quite rugged.
The reason I'm posting about this is because I got an email from the company saying they are having an overstock sale on their 5'5"x 8' pad. Normally $300 now $120, a great price on a large, well made heating blanket.
