Subject : Anybody use a veneer taping tool

Hi All,
I just bought this tool on ebay and was wondering if anyone else used one? If so, how do you like it? What are its drawbacks and good qualities? Does it really pull the veneer pieces together? Did I just waste 28 bucks?

Rob,

I considered carrying this tool some time ago and after testing it decided not to. I found it hard to keep the tape centered over the seam and it felt was awkward in my hand.

Thanks. It does seem awkward to hold at that angle. I'm not a big fan of holding the tape in my hands, so maybe I'll get used to this gun. It is in great shape and twenty bucks seems like a great price for a used hundred dollar tool. I recharged my camera, so now I hope to have time to take a pic of this thing. I'll post it, if I get the chance, before heading over to the inlaw's for a 2nd Fathers' Day meal.
