What do they mean when they say the round veneered table top has a
"Waterfall Edge"???

loosely interpreted, the grain on the top of the table "flows" over the edge as if it were a solid piece of wood.

thats my opinion of course. lets see what else pops up.

"Ditto" Craig's reply. The grain pattern established on the top appears to "Fall" over the table top onto the edge, providing a usually beautiful continuity of the grain pattern.  It also happens to be one of my favorite edging techniques for table tops. Marc

OK so what is other's opinion regarding the side edges... the ones where the side grain continues? Yes, this looks just fine from top to side, but what about when the long side meets the vertical grain side/end? An alternative is to use all vertical grain on the four edges, but then side edge to top looks odd...... or does it?
