Question 1: I noticed in the video that a respirator is worn when you mix the uni 800, but not once the glue is in liquid form. Are the fumes not toxic once it is mixed? Is it only the dust from the powder that is toxic?
Question 2: Should I use the white unibond or beige on quilted maple?
Question 3: I'm building a humidor, the plans say to construct the box first, sides out of 3/4" spanish cedar, top out of 1/2" mdf, and bottom out of 3/8" ply. Dim. of finished box is 12x18x6"h. The plan suggests to veneer after box is constructed. If I use my vacuum press to glue on the veneer, will the box collapse?
Question 4: I'm planning on using some banding in the lid panel, to surround a 4 way match. Should I tape this in place before I press the panel or inlay it afterwards? Do I have to do anything to compensate for the differences in thicknesses of the banding and veneer?
Thanks for any light you can shed
