Richard,
I'm not familiar with the foam core products, and I'm not sure it's the right choice for your application. I am familiar with the resin impregnated honeycomb, and we do carry it. It comes in 2'x4' sheets, 1/2", 3/4" and 1" thickness. At least that's what we carry. The size of the sheet really doesn't matter, because you just fill up the general area and butt the sheets together. As far as glue goes, you really want a rigid one like urea resin and I would not go less than one quarter inch on your skins. You can veneer the skins before you press it to the honeycomb or afterwards, I usually veneer afterwards. In areas where you want to screw to the table I just cut out the honeycomb and drop in small blocks of wood.
That's the basics.
Sincerely
Darryl Keil
