Two questions:I just veneered a small panel 6"x12" with two ply wood backed mahogany veneer using unibond. Unfortunately I didn't notice that the plywood (I should have used MDF) caul I used had a good-sized void in it. So I have about a 2-3" diameter bubble where the veneer didn't stick. I have seen it mentioned here about using super glue and a syringe. Would this work for a bubble this size or is there some other way to glue the spot? If it will work, do you just squirt the super glue into the syringe? Also for the same project I would like to veneer the inside of a 5" diameter hole on a .5" thick panel. Is contact cement the only option for this? Thanks for any advice! Regards,Dennis

Dear Dennis,Well, it is a rather large bubble but if you inject the super glue from a couple of locations you should be fine. Just squirt it in the syringe and inject it right away before it glues the syringe to itself.Im not clear on veneering the hole, do you want to veneer the sides, the bottom or both?SincerelyDarryl Keil: Two questions:: I just veneered a small panel 6"x12" with two ply wood backed : mahogany veneer using unibond. Dear Dennis,Here is my suggestion on veneering the hole. Make a 5" diameter disc and cut it in quarters. Use this disc to clamp the veneer in place by putting it in the hole and drive small wedges in the cuts to expand the quarters outward against the veneer. Try a dry run to see how this works, it should do fine.SincerelyDarryl Keil: Darryl,: : The 5" diameter hole is cut all the way through the mdf panel and I want to veneer the sides of the hole so that it looks something like solid wood.: I appreciate all of your help.: Dennis
