I have a client who wants a Pomelle Sapele dashboard on an MG Sprite. Since it's a convertible the adhesive needs to not be thermoplastic and needs at least some water resistance. I am going to veneer it onto Baltic Birch plywood. The dimensions are around 50+" X about 8".

There are three glues that would be appropriate. Epoxy, polyurethane and urea resin glue. They are all thermo setting not thermo plastic.
