I want to put some burl onto clear acrylic. If my epoxy sticks to most surfaces and is sure to bleed through the veneer. What can be used for a caul?

Use some common drop cloth plastic you would buy at a hardware store taped over a caul. This plastic is polyethelene and epoxy will not stick to it.
