Hi I have an unopened half gallon of unibond 800. It has been in my fridge about 5 years. The powder has been in my shop unfridgerated. Is it safe to use, or should I toss it.

Sorry folks, I posted above before searching. I will check the consistancy as soon as my honey gets cold. The maple syrup is already stored in the fridge.

Even with the old formula 5 years is really stretching it. I doubt is still good. Because the new formula liquid is not compatible with the old powdered catalyst make sure to dispense with both parts. You can render Unibond 800 nuetral by mixing the two parts together, letting them harden and then throwing it in the trash.
