I haven't been a regular lately, and I apologize.

I have always been on the hunt for cheap waxed paper.

This is not as wide as some other sources that I've found, but I haven't been able to find a better price.

Brian, what size would you wish for and is thickness a problem?

There is a local manufacturing company that uses something similar in their manufacturing process, I don't know if its wax paper but nothing sticks to it, its about .005 thick.
I'll inquire from a friend who manages the plant.

I just saw this on TV last week and I thought veneer (marquetry)craftsman may find it interesting. copy and paste.

I can find waxed paper that is 3 ft wide, but it's pretty expensive.

If your source is a better price than my link above, I'm interested.

I picked up some waxed paper hardwood flooring underlay from Home depot that might work for you. It was 36" wide and about 400sqft per roll and it was $25 can. It is awfully thin, but maybe.
