Hello

I have the Standard Vacupress, and have been using it for a few jobs (not more than 20 times). The pump will not turn off when set to auto, until I tap the unit. Is there a way to clean/maintain the switch?

Thanks, Mike Noble

Mike,

You may not have a sticky switch, just not set right. If the switch is set too close to the maximum the pump can pull it may not shut off properly. Do you know what your elevation is? When it runs and doesnt shut off what does the gauge say?

Darryl,

My elevation is approx 520 feet, and the gauge reads about 24 inches.
