Subject : Looking for someone who can build a bed

I have been talking to a customer who wants a queen-sized platform bed. It's a contemporary piece that needs to be built of veneer. For a couple of reasons, I can't do this, and I was wondering if anyone out there is in the Chicago area who would be interested in finding out more about this project?

Paula,I'm not in that area, in fact, I'm a long way from there. I might suggest that you visit the website of the Furniture Society. www.furnituresociety.org They have a register of members that can be searched according to geographical area. You can visit some makers websites and call whomever you deem appropriate.

If you can deal with the extra cost of shipping, I would be glad to talk with you about your bed project. I have a couple of different sources for delivery and/or installation. And I will be up that way in Sept. to attend the Milwaukee Furniture Show.
