Subject : Glycerine in Flattening Solution

I have some wavy veneer that needs flattening. I've looked at Darryl's video and the forum discussion on flattening solutions, all of which require liquid glycerine. I've checked at several local drug stores and nutritional stores (as well as local woodworking shops) and nobody knows where I can get glycerine. Are there any suitable substitutes to using glycerine or flattening solutions that don't require glycerine?

Thanks,

Alex Wehner @ KC

Is there a Rite Aid in your area? I find glycerine there all the time.

Look in the skin care section.
