Is it acceptable to lamininate two sheets of plywood together? I would like to glue a 30" by 66" piece of 1/4" to a 3/4" substrate.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Merle

Merle,

You can glue two sheets of plywood together but they both need to be the same thicknes or you will get some warpage. A 1/4" sheet to a 3/4" sheet is something I would not recommend.

I have veneered 1/4" oak ply to melamine on some cabinetry with no warpage or problems.

P.S.--I'm not saying that is the right way to do it, just saying I have gotten away with it . . . I may just be lucky.
