Subject : Sufficient Vacumn?

I'm strictly a newbi in veneering and need to know if 17Hg is sufficient for small panels. It is all I can muster with an old vacumn pump.Thanks in advance for any help.John

Dear John,17HG is generally acceptable but I recommend above 20 HG. You may have no problem with some veneers but the more ornery ones may give you trouble.
