Dear Andrew,I concur with TTB that a alternate top bevel is the best blade for veneer trimming. I have used triple chip blades and they dont work as well. I also find that if you raise the blade so its a bit high, about a inch or more above the panel surface it cuts cleaner. Safety is an issue with this idea, as the more blade sticking up the more danger to fingers. You will have to decide on this one, better cut or safer operation.SincerelyDarryl Keil: : In a couple of posts, it's been suggested that one veneer an oversized panel, then trim to size.
