Dear San,Although there are a number of older books on veneering I find them a bit out dated.Fine woodworking puts out a book called the "Veneering Book", its not super in depth but there is good information in it.You may want to consider the video "Working with Veneer". This video is something I made a few years ago and focuses on the steps from raw veneer to sanded panel, excellent for the beginner. You can contact us at 207-725-0935 if you are interested.I also recall a review in a recent issue of Fine Woodworking about a new veneering book out of England, I think. Im not sure what issue the review was in I just remember reading it. Sorry I cant be of more help on this one.SincerelyDarryl Keil : : I've done a few veneering jobs using contact cement and paper-backed veneer, I realize that: my skills are limited and can use some better veneering books. Any recommendations on books are: appreciated!
