: I have been trying to do some research on the construction and : lamination of skateboards. I am not very learned in the ways of : lamination and was wondering if anyone here knew the ins and outs of : the process. I noticed Mr. Darryl Keil had answered questions on the : subject in the past and was wondering if I could ask some questions. : Not to trouble you too much, but if someone could explain the process : and let me know what equipment is typically used. I currently sell : skateboards that I buy from leading manufacturers and I have a small : shop where I build for my home and my store fixtures such as shelves : (upon shelves and more shelves) and displays. I have never really : done any laminating. I am interested in making my own custom : skateboards. I would be most interested in techniques dealing with : creation of the finest quality skateboard rather than ease of : production or salvation of expense. THANKSDear Adrian:Dear Adrian:If you want more information on vacuum pressing, I would highly recommend the vidio "Working in a vacuum" from Vacuum Pressing Systems at this web site. It took away much of the questions I had about the process. Darryl and the other people at Vacuum Pressing Systms are just a phone call away and great at answering any question.Hope this helps.Tim
