What is Unibond 800? And how does it compare and/or differ from DAP/Weldwood Plastic Resin Glue?

Unibond and plastic resin are both urea resin glues which achieve their final cure by chemicalreaction when mixed. Plastic resin comes as a powder that you mix with water and Unibondcomes as a liquid with a powdered catalyst. We use Unibond in our shop and have been verypleased with the results. Both types yield a rigid glue line, but Unibond is a little less brittle which I prefer. Also Unibond sets considerably faster and comes in three colors whichcan be an advantage.Frank: What is Unibond 800? I have an antique coffee table about 3'x4'. The veneer top was destroyed. I have removed what was left and want to put an new sheet down. The table will be black laquered so the species of wood is not critical. What is the most expedient way to do this?Thanks,Bill
