If you go to the Vienna Acoustics website (http://www.vienna-acoustics.com) and carefully make your way into their cabinetry section you'll find and great amount of detail and pictures on the process they call "veneer wrapping". The beauty of their procedure is that it results in nicely done veneers around a radius. If you look at their cabinets the process has some obvious aesthetic benefits. All compliments aside, I;m left thinking. Could I duplicate their result under vacuum? Thoughts anyone?Regards,Dan

Dan,If you have a vacuum press you can definately duplicate what they have done. They are using a membrane press which is basically a high production vacuum press. They are applying veneer to their radiused panels and then assembling the speakers. You could do the same easily with a vacuum press. Its veneer the speaker after assembly that is much harder.SincerelyDarryl Keil: If you go to the Vienna Acoustics website (http://www.vienna-: acoustics.com) and carefully make your way into their cabinetry : section you'll find and great amount of detail and pictures on the : process they call "veneer wrapping". I was wondering if this was possible. i am just finishing a pair of veneeered spks w.radiused front but only on ther vertical corner. I wasn't sure about top and bottom corners "with the gran". Also I did not vacuum them since I haven't finished building my press.please let me know any info you find about this. Here is another spkr builder I would think the would use vacuum bagging:http://www.nearfieldacoustics.com/The%20Factory.htm
