I am trying to seam a 90 to do grain match. Problem is that my part is 4x4 and is 3d....like 2 capital D's coming together at a 90. Since I am gluing to aluminum I am using gorilla glue. I can't get the seam as good as I want and the poly expands making filling next to impossible (with good looking results). Any tips on cutting a pattern or veneer to get this match. Then any tips to hold in position while the bag comes down would also be appreciated.

Jeff,What are you using to cut your veneer with? Is your part 4"x4" or 4'x4'? Are you using veneer tape to hold the veneer together? Can you give me more discription of what it is, Im not seeing it clearly.SincerelDarryl Keil: I am trying to seam a 90 to do grain match. I am using veneer tape, the problem is when I get the seams tight on the ends the center opens up due to the shape. If I get the center and overlap the ends and try to trim or sand the glue leaves an unsightly black line. I am using a very light veneer and need to finish clear.
