Subject : Optimum curing temperature for Unibond 800

I have started using a heating blanket over the bag to improve cure time. The maximum temperature that it will reach is about 117 degrees F. Is there any problem with running the temperature up that high with regard to either the poly bag or the glue itself? Is there an optimum curing temperature above which there are no poitive gains?

Jim,

Both bags can handle that temp but its on the upper edge for vinyl. The real issue is warping the panel at higher temperatures due to the heat coming more from one side and not being balanced. I suggest not going over 110 degrees unless the heat is the same from both sides.

Darryl,

Thanks, that answers my question.
