Has anyone read ADVANCED VENEERING & ALTERNATIVE TECHNIQUES by Scott Grove, and if so what's your thoughts? Until Darryl or Paul writes a book, I haven't found one I really like on veneering. Lincoln's book is still my favorite, and it's older than I am.

Don,

Its funny that you posted this question as this book was on my to do list to put on my web site by the weekend. I have considered a number of books over the years on veneering but this is the first one that I've wanted to carry. This is not to say there arent some other decent veneering books but this one really caught my attention. Its well articulated, well laid out, with lots of great clear pictures accompanying the text and some good drawings as well. Its not entirely "advanced veneering", as a chunk of the book is devoted to the basics, but its definitely covers plenty of advanced veneering information worth having, and going over the basics from another persons view never hurts.
