Marco,
Reading your post; the frames are going to be flat as there’s no profile, am I right? If this is the case I would not be worried about jointing the mdf for there would be no joints! I would cut my veneer to the frame sizes, cut the 45s tape and press and after it’s dry, trim the outside and cut out the middle. Add the edging and your done. I do this all the time and you don’t have to worry about the joints opening up. Of course this is the simplified version. Tom
