Hi Daryl,
I'm trying to create branch like forms as part of a sculptural coffee table project. I'd be using 1/16" maple veneer that would have multiple bends. I do have your large poly bag. It will allow me to make the forms I desire with difficulty. I did break the plastic tube used to seal the bag. I've seen successful free form bends in veneer at some of the workshops I've attended so I know they can be done with your system. Do you have suggestions on the best way to go about doing this. I know using one of the long thin bags would help. I do have some of the evacuscreen(?) material. Would you simply line the whole bottom of the bag with this to the vacuum hole? Is there a more flexible way to seal the open end of the bag.
Thanks for your support
Ben

Ben,

How wide and long will your free form laminations be?

The branch like forms will be about 2" in diameter and be about 5 feet long. There will be webbing (of sorts) between the branches that will be about 3 1/2 to 4 feet long and maybe 10-12" wide that will follow the bend and curve of the branch.
