Hi all,

I'm wondering, VacuPress offers two types of spreaders, one is a hopper spreader and the other, a Klebo Spreader; have any of you used either type? It seems like a good way of doing much of what we need to do here at our company. Rolling takes time, and I seem to remember the Klebo spreader as laying glue out like you would with an adhesive trowl when one lays floor tiles. I want speed and accuracy

So far I've done quite a bit of gluing with the press and I'm very impressed (no pun intended this time!) with how this technology works and how accurate it all is when done.

I use the Pizzi brand Darryl sells, glue applicator. It has the hopper with a knurled closed cell foam roller. I figure the area for glue and mix accordingly. Dump it in the hopper and know when it's empty I have the proper amount of glue on the panel. Cleanup is not a problem since I'm cleaning the mixing container anyway. And so I don't have to worry about the glue starting to cure while I'm loading the press or if I forget after gluing, I dump the hopper in a bucket of water when I finish applying the glue.

I'm taking it that is the hopper type shown in his catalog?

I'm still wondering about the other one though
