I'm making a few small bags, should be more convienent than the large 4' by 8' bag I'm using currently. I'm using 30 mil vinyl. I've tried some of the bag closure systems found on the Internet ( i.e. 1/2" CPVC inside of 3/4" CPVC) but nothing seems to work easily and quickly. In particular, the CPVC is too stiff to easily use.

Does anyone have suggestions for an easy and inexpensive DIY bag closure system that will work for 30 mil vinyl? Thanks-

Here's what I use. Take to pieces of hardwood, roughly 1x1, and route a slot down the length of each one with a 1/2" diameter core box bit. Glue a 1/2" dowel into one of them, and clamp the bag between them.
