I'm new to vacuum press laminating and am about to do my first curved piece. I've got most of what's required, but I need to pick up some breather net to lay on top of the piece before sliding it into the bag. What is everyone using as a breather mest for such applications?

Marty,

I have used "Evacunet" (sold here by VacuPress) for large panel layups so I don't get air pockets in the center of my press. I imagine it would work for you.

In a rush, I tried some black nylon gutter shield mesh. It worked so-so, but when I got the real McCoy (Evacunet) I quickly threw away the gutter mesh. No comparison for ease of use.
