Subject : Question about Unibond 800

I backed some Olive Ash veneer with 23 gram fleece using Unibon 800, and had to roll some glue on both sides of the fleece to get the wrinkles out while i was working it onto the veneer. The fleece is normally used with heat pressuer as a pressure sensitive hot glue backing, but I've been experimenting with using it as kind of a backing paper. I pressed the veneer & fleece together in the bag between thin sheets of Melamine & the veneer's very flat now & like a rigid (but fragile) sheet. The back is now slick & shiny, being hardened glue. When I press this to the substrate, should I use Unibond 800 again - will it glue to itself? or should I use something that would be more appropriate for a laminate?

Use Unibond 800 again as it will stick fine to itself, just rough up the surface well with a course grit, like 80.
