I use the standard Vacupress pump & poly bag, 2 yrs old, light use only. Tonight while pressing a panel (on auto-run), it cycled once, then came on and stayed on. I double checked for leaks everywhere; even turned the pump off for 10 minutes, and the bag stayed locked tight. The guage was at 27 while running, and still at 27 after 10 minutes off. So I slightly bumped the turnwheel down with the blade of a screwdriver, and it finally cycled off. Is this a normal sign of age, or do I need to get the pump looked at?

thanks,
dave

Dave,

You should not need a new switch at all. Two years is way to early.

I suggest adjusting the switch down just a touch. Sometimes a switch needs to be readjusted. If you still have problems give me a call. 207-725-0935.

Sincerely
Darryl Keil
