hello, i am trying to do a furniture in Shagreen. The hide is very difficult to cut. Any idea where I can find the special tools used by professional craftmen?

No idea about any special tools. In fact, I had to look up the term to see what shagreen was. So, now you've got me interested! How is this material applied? Is is glued like veneer or allowed to be loose like upholstery? Sources???I recently made a small shelf w/ drawer covered in leather for an entryway. Shagreen sounds far more exotic and beautiful.
