West System, System 3, MAS, are all good epoxies. You want one that is not thick like peanut butter but more like honey. I don't add anything else, just the two parts. I pour it on, then squeegee it around, letting it soak in for a few minutes, then squeegee the excess off. I don't leave a thick coat. Wait overnight before sanding. With most epoxies you need to scrub with soap and water before sanding so your sand paper doesn't gum up.
