Does anyone have experience with 1/4 inch Neatform Bendy MDF (sold by Rockler and others) in constructing curved panels? Are there advantages or disadvantages with this material in comparison with bending plywood? Thanks.

Don,

The material you are asking about is a kerf cut mdf. Its advantage is the ability to veneer it in the flat and then doing your bending work. The disadvantage is dealing with the kerfs when cutting the finished panel to size. For panels where the edges are buried I think its great. For doors and such I would stick with bending ply.
