I have a customer who wants to stain a row of vanity boxes very dark. I was thinking about using dyed (Ebonized) maple but haven't tryed to dye veneer before, and don't have the time to spend on that. Does anyone know of a source for ebonized maple, or perhaps have some left over? I need to cover panels 20" or so tall max. ( vertical grain) and about 15' running. Boxes will be different depths and heights so all doesn't need to book match perfectly.

I think that Herzog is the best source for dyed veneers.

Greg,

If it doesnt have to be maple as the base veneer, www.certainlywood.com has black dyed veneer. They wont have other colors, only black.
