i'll spare you all the long story of why i've got to do it, but i need to make about 20 sheets of 1/4" veneered plywood 1/2" thick. i plan to use 1/4" luan for the backer, and i'm trying to decide whether to use unibond or cold press pva glue. any thoughts?

Jason,

I dont have all the details as to how your panel will be used but I dont see any problem using yellow glue. Its not like you have to prevent the plywood from expanding or contracting since you're just gluing two 1/4"sheets together, they are already stablized.

Sincerely

thanks for the reply, darryl. the finished 1/2" panels will become cabinet carcasses. i was hoping the yellow glue would work, since it cures faster than unibond and i have a big pile of parts to press.
