How about a contest for the oldest bag still in use? I bought my bag from Darryl in either '93 or '94. Can't find my receipt but I have some invoices from then, so I know it was around that time. Yep it has quite a few patches on it but it still works, looks grungy. Had a nipple kit put on it at least once. One of the patches is 6in. long where a large board fell against it. Oh, it is a Poly bag. Very tough.

Anyone else have a battle scarred bag?

Not as old as yours. Mine is from 1995-96. I have a patch in the middle bottom from a piece of trash on the table. Patches on either side at the seam from the stress of curved forms. And finally replaced the nipple once. It looks well used, but it still seems to hold a vacuum. And gets the job done.

I have only used my 4x8 bag once for a big table top. And I have a laminating bag that is as old as the 4x4 but it's not the age, but the number of jobs it has served
