I made the jig about 36" long and it works great. Often however I am joining sheets of veneer between 36 and perhaps 60" long. Has anyone made a longer version? Any thoughts on how well it work work? Thanks.

Don,

A longer jig should work fine. My only suggestion is to get a very deep, deep throat clamp that you could reach around from the back side of the jig and clamp in the middle. This assures good pinch pressure in the middle of longer jigs rather than relying only on the bow in the beams.

Sincerely

Great detail that I never would have realized. Thanks.
