I recently purchased a large amount of veneer and will be storing some of it for a year or two. It is currently rolled into cylinders about 18 inches in dia and held in place with saran wrap. Any problems storing in this fashion as opped to laying it flat?

Thanks

Howard

I would suggest querying your supplier. Every source I have come across has said unroll as soon as possible and store flat with weighted cover. Another reason to unroll is to inspect the veneer as soon as it is received, so that any issues can be raised with the supplier in a timely fashion.

Howard,

Without a doubt unroll your veneer. If you leave it rolled up it will assume that shape and will be a disaster to work with later.
