Well after reading about unibond 800 needing a sawn or sanded surface rather than a jointed one has got me worried.I laminated Three curved table aprons with Unibond 800 on a planed surface .Will they come apart? Building table for my first Guild woodshow end of next month.

THanks Tom

Tom,

Dont worry, you will be fine. The sanded/sawn surface thing is just an extra precaution, not a must. When someone has a glue problem I cover all the bases just to be sure. It appears that the situation where I mentioned that looks like a temperature problem at this point anyway. Often solid wood glueing has a lot less surface area being bonded than lamination work does so the extra precaution is worth taking in that situation.

Sincerely
Darryl Keil
