I was just talking to an upholstery buddy of mine, and he was wondering if the vacuum press could be used for covering molded car door panels. It looks feasible to me, but I have no idea what kind of adhesive would be required. Any Ideas?

Dear Jim,Yes, the vacuum press can be used for this. Quite a few car restorers are using them for this purpose.Epoxy is usually the glue for this purpose, although it depends what the panel is made out of.SincerelyDarryl Keil: I was just talking to an upholstery buddy of mine, and he was wondering if the vacuum press could be used for covering molded car door panels. The panels are usually covered in their original factory vinyl. It would not seem that epoxy would be the right adhesive for this.
