What are your opinions about the quality and consistency obtainable from veneer from all the auctionds currently going on on Ebay. The prices are very good.ThanksKevin

I had one negative purchase. Other than that, I have won a few auctions on some incredible stuff like dyed bird's eye, and redwood burl that was much less than purchase from retail. The folks selling wood on ebay are a really nice and honest bunch. If you can find the quantity you need, and the species, definately go ahead and bid.

I have purchased five batches of veneer in five different species from a guy named Tom Volpe on eBay. Each batch has been incredibly beautiful stuff. I have had no problems buying veneer this way, and the prices are fantastic ! I say go for it.
