I'm applying veneer over MDF board and also hard maple. Does Unibond need to be applied to both the veneer and substrate? Thanks!

: Ken, : Its always a good idea to apply your glue to both partsDear Ken,Well, this veneeer forum is here so everyone can express their view and I encourage this.As far as applying glue to both surfaces I always coat only the substrate except on special occasions. My reasons are these, its easy to over apply glue when coating both surfaces ending up with excessive bleed thru, also the veneer can really curl up on you when spreading glue. Michael has a different view, so you may want to try both and see what you like.SincerelyDarryl Keil
