Subject : What adhesive to use when making your own bags?

I have tried at least 10 different supposed vinyl adhesives but none seem to hold. I have been quite successful using toulene first then using a product call hh-66. But it is too expensive to buy a quart and only use 5 to 8 ounces since it has a fairly short shelf life (thats what I heard). Does anyone have any suggestions for a suitable glue?

Dear Joe,I'm surprised your having trouble with regular vinyl adhesive, I've always found it to work fine.A few tips that make it hold better is to wipe the area to be glued with acetone first and when you clamp the vinyl together, do it lightly and then remove the clamps after 1/2 hour..That should help.I am assuming your bag is vinylSincerelyDarryl Keil: I have tried at least 10 different supposed vinyl adhesives but none : seem to hold.
