I need to cut small pieces of veneer about 20mm x 50mm (3/4" X 2") and join them around an octagon. What is the best way to do this.Thanks

What is the best way to do : this.ThanksDear Steve:Draw lines out from the center of the octigon to the outward points and behond. use an Exacto razor saw with very fine teeth. All of the veneer pieces will have the same angle at both ends. Either cut them by eye and hand or build a small cut off box with that angle.Good luck

I'm no expert but what I've done is make larger sheets with a cross-banding (like poplar). Now I've got something thick and sturdy enough to cut on an arm or table saw. Sinmply cross band on the back side the same thickness.: I need to cut small pieces of veneer about 20mm x 50mm (3/4" X 2") : and join them around an octagon. What is the best way to do : this.Thanks
