Subject : Will glue in flattening formula affect staining?

Using glycerin-glue formula found here to flatten some old burl veneer. Will the glue in the formula affect staining after applying veneer? (As a general rule, I don't stain, but you never know!) Also, how long will the formula keep if kept tightly capped and cool? I didn't realize that I was making so much! Ended up with about three-quarters of a gallon.

Michael, The use of flattening solution does not affect staining, also, if kept tightly sealed the solution should last indefinatly. Good luck, John.
